Smok has held its title as one of the biggest names in vaping for quite some time now. From all the way back to their original alien to their wide variety of vapes on the market today, their products have stayed a fan favorite. Today we’re taking a look at their newest sub-ohm beast, the Arcfox. Is this new kit worth the upgrade? Let’s find out.

The Smok Arcfox is a dual 18650 battery box mod kit that is also IP67 rated for dust and shock resistance, meaning this is one of the most durable mods on the market right now. Just from gripping the mod alone, you can tell that there is quite a bit of sturdiness when compared to other devices. On both the massive fire button and the bottom battery cover, there's no wiggling or loose connections. The Arcfox takes USB-C type charging and can go up to 230 watts. The device itself also just looks great, the leather grip finish adds a really nice touch to the device that doesn’t make it look so brick-like.

This device also comes with the TFV18 kit which makes the kit worth it alone. The TFV18 is one of if not the best sub-ohm tank available on the vape market in a really long time. This tank is a dream come true for cloud chasers, with two massive coil options. The single TFV18 mesh coil or a dual meshed TFV18 coil! Both coils are rated for 80-140w watts. That's right. 140 watts. The tank is super easy to fill with its top fill sliding port.

With this kit, you’ll get the Arcfox mod, a TFV18 tank with a preinstalled single coil & a spare dual mesh coil so you can try both, an extra bubble glass, a charger and your user manual. I really like the fact that Smok still gives replacement glass with their kits, as sometimes it can be a pain in the difficult to find new ones.

The only real con to this kit would be how restricted you are to a relatively high wattage setting. Like I mentioned earlier, this device is fantastic for high wattage vaping. But if you're looking for something to sit at a relatively lower, this device may not be the one for you. Due to the high wattage requirement too, you may find yourself running through juice a little bit quicker than usual. However, if you do like massive clouds and powerful hits, this one is truly a no brainer.

At the end of the day, if you're looking to pick up a new high powered sub-ohm device or looking to take a stroll down memory lane with some cloud chasing, the Arcfox is the perfect option and I would highly recommend it as one of Smoks better products in recent memory.
